Hello, I'm Julee Peterson. I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist working online throughout California. I am currently taking new clients. I am interested in helping blended families, repairing marriages and strengthen family bonds. I'm part of a blended family and have walked the difficult starting path and have insight into the nuances of blended family life. What I love most about my work is positively affecting people’s lives through psycho-education and helping improve communication and understanding between family members and couples. Better communication increases trust for better functioning relationships.
I work with blended families, step-parents and bio-parents experiencing distress , non-blended couples and am LGBTQ friendly. I have advanced training in: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and families, Co-parenting, Discernment Counseling and specified training in Blended family development, cycles and relating.
I bring a sense of genuine caring to the therapeutic relationship and I have the personal experience of living in a blended family. I work to bring clarity and understanding to your emotional experiences help to improve family relating. We work to increase satisfaction and household peace.
