Often, our past experiences leave us wounded. The story that we tell ourselves becomes permeated with negative thoughts, low self-worth, and shame. As these feelings manifest, we become anxious and depressed. We might experience isolation, loneliness, and a loss of connection to others and to ourselves. Therapy can help us discover perspectives that create a new narrative, one in which we have different ways to manage our emotions and lead a more enjoyable life.
I work with adolescents, adults, and couples helping them overcome a number of life challenges. My ability to listen and to provide empathy comes from a genuine place of wanting to help others. My life's purpose is to be a resource for individuals who may be suffering. I am trained in EMDR therapy.
