Different life transitions and challenges can have a tendency to throw us off balance. From the solid base of a trusting and authentic therapeutic relationship, I work to help people regain balance in their lives by embracing their ability to self-nurture. I take a positive, strengths-based approach with an emphasis on cultivating self-understanding, self-acceptance, self-compassion, and self-love.
I utilize an integrated somatic approach to help clients enter into a mindful state from which to explore their past, present, and future experiences. Some techniques I employ include meditation, parts work, cognitive restructuring, open dialogue, exploring attachment, movement, somatic techniques, and teaching relaxation and coping skills.
I believe that personal agency plays an important role in growth, therefore our work together will be collaborative and guided by your goals, strengths, challenges, values, beliefs, and perspectives. I approach our time together with curiosity and compassion, and check-in regularly to make sure our work feels and remains meaningful.
