We are living in a world that is becoming more and more fast paced. Sometimes the pressure of this fast paced life can leave us feeling overwhelmed and filled with a lot of negative thoughts. Whether I am working with an individual, couple, or family, I assist my clients with identifying what is creating a disruption in their life through emotional modeling, mindfulness based practices and shakras/spirit awareness. Sometimes the hardest task comes from the simplest of actions like pausing and taking a breath to regain personal control.
I know first hand how difficult this can be when our emotions feel so powerful. We have been conditioned by society to view our strong emotions as something scary and in need of protection from. They can be scary but they don't have to be if we give ourselves a chance to understand them and what is giving them fuel. After all, emotion is energy in motion.
