Through God’s tender mercies, while applying a spiritual program of action into his life, Jimmy has become aware of his pride, ego and developed a manner of living that allows him to live “Wholehearted”.
Jimmy is gifted with the capacity to contextualize, synthesize and communicate complex and nuanced issues pertaining to trauma, attachment & nervous system, including the impact of oppressive systems upon identity, mental health and wellbeing. Teaches how to metabolize four energies that every human being deals with each day: Stress, Shame, Trauma & Grief.

Understanding that Shame is "baked" into every system, Trauma happens in the small moments of our lives, and that anytime there is change (whether we label that change Good/Bad, Right/Wrong, Positive/Negative) there is loss and we are always in the greif cycle.

Voices In Recovery
We start from a place of acknowledging three freedoms: Freedom to interpret experiences in any way, not just an illness framework. Freedom to challenge social norms-- including gender norms or other ideas about how we are “supposed to be” in the world. Freedom to talk about anything-- not just voices and visions. Groups are not “treatment” or “psychoeducation”. The primary focus is on making connections and sharing experiences. Everyone present is responsible for creating an environment that centers respect, support and empathy. There is acceptance that voices and visions, tactile sensations and other unusual or misunderstood experiences are real experiences.
