I hold a deep and abiding belief in the inherent health and wellness in each of my clients and my work is to guide them to rediscover this core sense of aliveness, agency and resiliency. In addition to my clinical training in psychology, I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner and Mindfulness Educator. I have integrated traditional psychotherapy with cutting-edge, body-based modalities that address childhood developmental issues and Complex Trauma. I create a safe environment in which to renegotiate learned survival strategies that, while needed at one time, compromise our ability to connect with ourselves and others.
My focus is on attunement and collaboration with each individual's needs, emerging truth, and movement towards integration and health. I hold the tenet that by tapping into the deeper intelligence of psyche, body and soul, we awaken to our freedom from past conditioning, unconscious patterns and limiting beliefs.
Our work together will honor all parts of you with both radical acceptance and the invitation for greater coherence between all parts. I bring warmth, intuition, and compassion into the counseling relationship and the encouragement of free, authentic expression through experientially-oriented sessions that are "beyond talk therapy."
