I am currently unable to accept new clients. To introduce, as a psychologist I provide evidence-based therapy that is person-centered. This means that I use my clinical expertise to actively treat the concerns that are bringing you into therapy in ways that are tailored specifically to you. When meeting with me, you can expect to be treated with warmth as a whole person who has individualized identities, values, and strengths. My goal is to aid people in becoming happier and healthier individuals, whatever this means to you.
While rooted in humanistic orientation, my work is an integration of several psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioral methods. Because of my extensive training and work within the VA, I specialize in treating PTSD and varied reactions to trauma. Other areas of specialization include mood disorders, anxiety, identity development, and relationship concerns.
I graduated from University at Albany's Counseling Psychology Doctoral program in 2014. Over the past several years, I have worked in a variety of clinic settings.
