My clinical focus is on adults who need education and/or support to understand how emotional neglect, narcissistic abuse, and psychological/emotional abuse have affected their self-image, relationships, choices in partners and friends, and behavioral patterns. I work with clients who have experienced C-PTSD which develops in response to long-term trauma, abuse, and/or emotional neglect. I can also help those trying to figure out if they’re in a relationship with a narcissist or wanting to learn healthier boundaries to better manage their relationship, in any capacity, with loved ones demonstrating narcissistic traits.
I am experienced in psycho-analytical and psycho-dynamic approaches to treatment, the relationship between trauma and effects on development, mindfulness, self-compassion and strengths-based approaches, CBT, life coaching, and providing psycho-education to assist individuals and families better understand mental health treatment and needs.
Establishing a healthy therapeutic relationship with clients is my first priority. It is paramount to my practice to maintain my professionalism while engendering a relaxed, calming, safe, non-judgmental environment in which clients are encouraged to be honest and transparent about any and all issues they may be facing.
