Hello my name is Jesica! I am Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor. We as individuals no matter what age experience different life changes/challenges that affect us in our everyday lives. I as a clinician believe that you are the expert of your life. I believe that my job as a clinician is not to fix you, but to guide and give you the necessary tools/skills to overcome/heal from difficult life events. My goal is to show my clients their strengths and they are capable of doing anything they put their mind to.
My goal is to help you discover your true authentic self and empower you. Through the use of emotion focused therapy, client centered therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy modalities I help my clients work on processing grief, processing past traumas, work on coping skills, work on communication skills, and help deal/heal from different life stressors.
I can tell you about all my experience and years of practice, but that still does let you get to know me! I am mixture of silliness, warm, honest, and transparent; because I believe in being my full authentic self. I love working with different individuals from young children, adolescents, teens, veterans, to older adults.
