HRAA Harm Reduction And Abstinence group
This group is for folks who are interested in exploring the role drugs or alcohol or other compulsive behaviors play in their lives. It is a high functioning group that meets online and roughly half the folks are choosing abstinence and the other half are working towards reducing harm from use and dependency in their lives. This group is a therapy group and most of the focus is on general therapy issues in addition to the above such as relationships, stress, self esteem, family and other psychological concerns.

Philadelphia Psychologist Dr. Jeremy Frank runs this group for men and woman who identify as having some sort of addiction or compulsive behavior and who are motivated to work on longer term therapy issues. Most of the current members have been in or are also in individual therapy and the group provides an opportunity to continue this work. This virtual group is for people who want to minimize harm from drug or alcohol use or maintain abstinence. 75.00 per 1.5 hr long sessions. It's a fun, relaxed group which is essential if people want to make changes with drugs and alcohol. We emphasize honesty and caring over abstinence. Learning to be honest with others in our group when you are ready on your own time is critical to recovery. .
