I believe that my role as a therapist is to provide effective tools in a safe and supportive environment to help each individual activate their own intuitive healing process. I utilize a variety of evidenced-based approaches in order to support and honor the mind, body and spirit of each individual I work with. As a woman of color who has worked extensively with individuals from racial and ethnic minority groups, I pay careful attention to providing culturally responsive care.
I specialize in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, panic, depression, trauma, challenging life transitions, relationship problems, issues related to equity, race, and identity, as well as those interested in finding more meaning in their lives. I work from a wellness model to assist my clients not only to survive but also to thrive.
Additionally, I work with a licensed prescriber to offer ketamine assisted psychotherapy or KAP; a cutting edge practice used to treat a variety of mental health disorders and encourage self exploration through access to non ordinary states of consciousness.
