With over 20 years experience working with children and families in services pertaining to child protection, domestic violence, mental health, and intensive family-based services for children, I have extensive experience working with various challenges people often face. Some of these include: various forms of trauma, behavioral concerns, mood disorders, ADHD, Autistic spectrum disorders, relationship struggles within families, adoption, parenting concerns, and mental health concerns of individuals of all ages.
My approach provides support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. By integrating highly personalized treatments with compassion and understanding, I work to help build on strengths and individualized goals.
I am a faculty member in the UNC School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. I work on the Raleigh campus as a clinician in the Faculty Outpatient Program and in the role of Clinical Instructor in the Child and Adolescent Outpatient Program.
