I am an EMDR, trauma-informed, relational therapist. I believe that traumatic experiences do not define us. I became a therapist to provide support in overcoming adversities to live a full life. I work with individuals from a variety backgrounds faced with family discord, community violence, addiction, anxiety, loss, and life transitions. I take a person-centered approach to therapy, offering collaboration in goal setting and establishing an individualized treatment plan to target your needs.
I utilize EMDR, Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, and Mindfulness throughout my practice. I aim to create a safe environment to help you identify strengths and change maladaptive thoughts or behaviors that are preventing you from being your authentic self. We will explore coping strategies, emotional regulation, and communication styles.
