Many clients deal with pain, whether emotional or physical, related to some form of trauma or difficulties with relationships. Working on self, building boundaries, and reducing trauma response enhances all realms of your life and relationships. Successful clients are engaged with a desire for change, of course we all have bad days. Everything we do is designed to move forward toward the client's goals and needs, this includes usually includes exploring what they want and why. Getting to know each other is essential. Slow is fast, especially in trauma work.

PTSD and other traumas can be treated successfully in a myriad of ways. EMDR is one of the top chosen, but is not for everyone. Somatic treatments, polyvagal support, narrative therapy, and even holistic methods are all good options as well, depending on the person and the concern. You have rights as a client to choose what is best for you.

Having lived in multiple states, including in the east and traveling extensively, my experience with people outside of Utah allows me a different viewpoint into where people are coming from.
