I got my Bachelor’s of Science at University of Texas at Dallas, double majoring in Psychology and Child Development. I got my Master’s degree in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, specializing in substance use and working with the LGBTQIA+ community. I’ve always been drawn to learning about how the brain works and how we learn to cope with life.
Having had my own struggles with identity and mental health issues has strengthened my desire to learn and create a safe environment for others to learn too. I’ve worked as a Preschool Teacher, done counseling work with the LGBTQIA+ community, and worked treating substance use with teenagers. I feel confident working with anyone, no matter what age or stage.
