My specialty and passion is working with men (adolescent & adult) that are struggling with a wide range of issues; in particular, identity issues/crises, life transitions, codependence, difficulty with relationships, and/or anxiety/depression. I utilize a more direct approach to therapy, similar to coaching, yet explore with clients the underlying therapeutic themes that are fueling their struggles. In addition to my area of specialization, I also enjoy working with family systems (adult & adolescent) that desire a spiritual focus in their relational growth but find themselves stuck in communication, connection and/or commitment.
I have a Level 1 certification Brainspotting Therapy. I utilize the trauma-informed Developmental Model of Immaturity, and I take a non-judgmental, yet directive approach to therapy. My desire is to allow my clients to speak freely and be emotionally vulnerable while providing guidance, discernment, and hope.
