I specialize in working with males (adolescent or adult) that are struggling with a wide range of issues; in particular, identity issues/crises, life transitions, difficulty with relationships, and/or anxiety/depression. I utilize a more direct approach to therapy, similar to coaching, yet explore with clients the underlying therapeutic themes that are fueling their struggles. In addition to my area of specialization, I also enjoy working with couples and family systems (adult & adolescent) that desire a spiritual focus in their relational growth but find themselves stuck in communication, connection and/or commitment.
I am certified as a Level 1 Brainspot Therapist, I utilize the trauma informed Developmental Model of Immaturity, and I take a non-judgmental, yet directive approach to therapy, allowing clients to speak freely and be emotionally vulnerable while providing guidance, discernment and hope.
