I'll help you address challenging situations and stressful transitions in your life by providing a space to process your thoughts and emotions, as well as learning helpful coping strategies. I also specialize in helping younger women with chronic pain or other chronic medical illnesses.
I provide therapy from cognitive behavioral and emotionally focused perspectives. Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) can be helpful as it guides us in talking about your thoughts and behaviors so that you can learn coping skills that are useful in your every day life. You can also learn helpful skills to address chronic pain or physical health symptoms.
I have provided therapy in multiple college counseling centers as well as medical settings (UPMC Children’s Hospital & St. Margaret), allowing me to work well with both students and clients with complex medical concerns.
