Accepting new clients! I specialize in working with cancer and chronic illness, relationships/attachment, and the LGBTQ+ community. I approach all of my counseling through an affirmative approach that creates a sense of safety and security that allows you to feel seen and heard in your unique story. Clients that work with me would describe me as an active therapist, someone who engages my clients in exploration in a supportive, collaborative way. My favorite sessions are ones in which we can work together to understand deeper parts of you and increase your understanding of self.
You are a whole, complex being with unique experiences and I value those parts of you. Because of that, your therapy will be done in a way that uniquely suits you. I use a variety of counseling techniques in my work which focus on emotions, relationship patterns, early experiences with your family and culture, and your day to day environment.
It can be hard to know if a therapist is going to be a good fit for you and your needs.
