As both a mental health counselor and registered dietitian, I offer holistic, mind-body synced mental health care for eating disorders, body image, & identity. My work centers around our relationships: our relationship with the self, with others, with food, our bodies and the world around us. This philosophy includes the therapeutic relationship, meaning I deeply prioritize ensuring that you feel connected, heard and seen in our work together. As a sex positive, multiculturally sensitive and LGBT+ allied provider, it is central to my work to affirm and normalize our human experiences in order to dissipate the burdens of shame.
My counseling style blends relational therapy, Internal Family Systems (parts work), existentialism, feminist and attachment theory, Gottman method skills, and behavioral modalities. My nutrition philosophy decentralizes weight as a determinant of health and functions to deepen your connection to your body's intuitive needs.
