My approaches generally are psychoeducational (engaging the head), narrative(engaging the heart), experiential /grounding (engaging the whole self: head, heart, body, and spirit).
As a former therapy skeptic and now a therapy master's intern, I know therapy can be a very good thing, having received it first myself. If you have not received therapy before, I encourage you to consider taking the first step. Perhaps you feel like you have tried therapy many times before, and nothing has changed; I encourage you to take one more step.
