I am passionate about working with adolescents and adults managing symptoms related to anxiety, depression, trauma, perinatal stressors, and relationship concerns. My focus is on utilizing treatment modalities that research shows is effective, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Through these treatment modalities I collaborate with clients to better understand how past and current experiences impact their current struggles, and where changes can be implemented to meet treatment goals and improve their emotional health.
I practice therapy from a skills-based approach and have the goal to empower clients to feel capable of managing stressors beyond the length of treatment. I aim for clients to walk away from each session feeling like they have something to practice, and a plan to approach current and anticipated obstacles.
