Sometimes we experience life changing events that cause us lose sight of our hopes and dreams. Our fears can deceive us into believing that we will never be okay again. We do not have to be defined by what has happened to us. I believe that no matter what we have been through we have the potential to create for ourselves, a happy, rich and full life worth living. It is not easy to overcome the bad experiences but it is possible. Therapy can increase psychological flexibility and allow us to not be open again. I specialize in working with people who have had traumatic events, creating barriers to them experiencing life to the fullest. I help individuals come to terms with trauma, manage their thoughts and feelings and create exuberance in their lives. I work with Couples to help them get past trauma and learn to create shared meaning in their relationship.
My practice serves clients from 9 to 99. I work with individuals, couples, families and veterans. I serve people of all ethnicities, genders, sexualities, and abilities. I seek to help people feel whole. I am Certified in trauma and DBT therefore, I use the latest methods of healing trauma. Therapy methods used include ACT, CBT, DBT, FFTT and Mindfulness.
