You’re in a transition. Life has always laid out the next steps for you before, but now you’re feeling lost. You feel disconnected from other people and have realized you don't know much about who you are outside of the roles you fill. It seems like other people are happier and more sure of themselves. You’ve been living your day to day on autopilot, and want to feel more present in your life. You know you have pains from growing up, but you aren’t totally sure what healing looks like. I understand where you are, and I would love to provide a dedicated space for you to reconnect with yourself.
A foundation of safety and trust are necessary in the healing process. Each client’s experiences are unique, so you’re in charge of your course of therapy. I'm here to hold space for you, and to provide insight and support. I want therapy to feel like a space where you really can bring whatever feels important to you into session.
I use a combination of talk therapy and EMDR to help clients heal from disconnection caused by past experiences. Once we begin to identify and heal from what caused us to develop the beliefs and coping strategies that we had as children, we can let go of the ones that no longer serve us. We become empowered to take control of our lives!
