Reaching out for therapy can feel overwhelming. I understand. Yes, it is a leap of faith. As I reflect over twenty years of clinical practice, I realize how deeply I have come to respect each individuals' capacity to overcome pain and meet challenges, utilizing therapy to meet needs for self preservation, growth and re-invention.
I offer a safe, caring, warm therapeutic relationship. I honor each persons' narrative & meet them where they are in their journey, gently challenge underlying beliefs and patterns, help develop insight to create desired changes in life. My therapeutic work is informed by multiple perspectives: Psychodynamic, Culturally sensitive, Trauma-informed.
