Psychological health is much more than the absence of problems and mental illness. My approach begins with the identification of your values. This becomes the foundation of our work together. We then explore thoughts and feelings that get in the way of living a more meaningful and satisfying life and replace them with strategies that are more values consistent and effective in the pursuit of a more satisfying life.

I have over ten years experience working with individuals experiencing substance use disorders, depression, anxiety, and relationship issues. I also work with those experiencing problems with their career, culture and identity, and who may be going through a life transition.

I am conveniently located in lower Manhattan just 3 blocks south of Union Square. My treatment approaches include: Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I am an out-of-network provider for most major insurance carriers.
