Dr. Genevive Julien, PsyD is a health psychologist of 11 years, integrating mindfulness, humanistic psychology with evidence-based practices to guide clients towards transformative change. Dr. Julien uses a biopsychosocial- spiritual model that optimizes the whole person approach. She draws from her rich background of growing up in Maui, HI coupled with her diverse professional experience of teaching mindfulness-based curriculums to communities of at-risk youth, indigenous peoples, correctional facilities also specializing in chronic pain.
OpenWorld Psychology is a clinic dedicated to improving patients' lives through evidence-based treatment and compassionate care. We provide evidence-based therapy for adults and children (individual sessions) who are based in California. Our sessions currently take place online through video visits or in-person in our Santa Clara office.

Perhaps you have heard of dungeons and dragons or pathfinder - TTRPGs use similar adapted gameplay to meet therapy goals. These games focus on collaborative gameplay. Group members collaborate with each other with role-playing characters they create to explore fictional worlds and real-life relationships. TTRPGs take place in the physical world, where players gather around a table to interact. Groups are typically structured with a 5-minute check-in, 60 minutes of gameplay and 25 minutes for group processing.
