Psychotherapy is a deeply personal journey into getting to know yourself. The start of treatment is truly an important first step into understanding yourself and your past, finding ways to cope with your current struggles, and ultimately improving your overall quality of life. I specialize in helping people to manage emotional and anxiety-related difficulties, as these tend to strongly impact interpersonal relationships and general life-satisfaction. My goal is to meet you where you are while guiding you in getting to the root of these issues so that we can work collaboratively toward your treatment goals.
I enjoy working with a wide range of young people as well as older adults. My doctoral training was primarily focused on Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. Over time, I have acquired certifications in CBT and DBT in order to broaden my approach as needed. I also offer Bariatric Surgery evaluations as well as Psychological Testing and consultation.
I believe every person should be approached in a unique and flexible fashion in order to best serve their needs. That is what makes psychotherapy such a challenging yet rewarding endeavor. I invite you to reach out to me so that we may engage in this important work together.
