I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy at any point in time. We can experience both immense joy and deep grief and trauma. Sometimes the latter overwhelms our ability to see the joy in our life or makes us feel like we are not living as we were meant to. If you keep feeling stuck no matter what you've tried to do on your own or in other therapies, that normally means there is trauma that has not been processed yet. Enter me, I'm not like a regular therapist; I'm a cool therapist (I'm actually not cool, but I think I can be fun even when therapy isn't always the most fun). I want to help you feel unstuck.
My particular areas of focus includes those that need to process the trauma of living with substance abuse in the home as a child, and those managing chronic illness. I do this by creating a safe and warm environment for you and then act as a guide as we process past experiences using IFS and/or EMDR trauma therapies.
The journey to being my best self started with a scary phone call asking for help, but it was best thing I ever did. I'd encourage you to make the call. Therapy and moving towards healing is hard, and the status quo is always an option. However, on the other side of our trauma and pain, our truest self lives. Finding him or her is worthwhile.

Processing Deconstruction & Religious Trauma
This is a support group for anyone who may be navigating religious deconstruction. One of the #1 complaints I here when working with clients in the midst of deconstruction is feeling isolated and missing community. This group exisits to provide a space to process however you may need, ask questions, grieve, and connect. This closed 6-week process group will provide a space for you to share & process your struggles with others. Group topics include: trauma education, isolation and support in the midst of deconstruction, asking questions with safe people, developing your identity and boundary setting.
