I believe that every child, parent, individual, and family has the capacity for change, wellness, and healing. I specialize in treating children, adolescents, young adults, and families who are struggling with relational and family issues, anxiety and stress, depression, life transitions, and behavioral challenges. I also have a particular passion for working with individuals who have experienced trauma including sexual and physical abuse, neglect, and issues with attachment including histories in foster care and adoption.
I utilize a strength based integrative approach to empower my clients to discover their own inner resources while instilling new skills and awareness. I draw from an evidenced-based holistic treatment approach which allows me appreciate the depth and complexity of each person.
My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative, and I work closely with parents, schools, and other important entities in a child's life to facilitate therapeutic progress. I believe that a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship and feelings of safety in the therapeutic space are of the utmost importance.
