Welcome to my profile! I am a bilingual English/Spanish therapist licensed in California and Texas. I have over 12 years of experience providing individual and family therapy to children, college students and adult individuals. I provide a variety of services from supporting parent-child relationships to treatment focused on trauma, anxiety and depression. My hope is that at the end of treatment my clients have a better understanding of their emotions, their strengths, skills to manage hard emotions/situations and feel empowered. In addition, I enjoy integrating culture and each person specific values into the therapeutic work.
A bit about my approach to therapy : I am solution focus and strength based in my approach. I enjoy helping people get "unstuck" from unhelpful thinking styles to be able to enjoy their lives more fully. When applicable, I also integrate the specific faith of the client into therapy as I understand this can be an integral part of a person's identify.
Although the U.S.A has been my home for many years. I am originally from Mexico and have personal lived experience with acculturation and immigration. Thus, I enjoy providing support to people with these lived experiences. Please notice I ONLY offer telehealth services as I have found this can be a practical and beneficial service to my clients.
