I strive to create a safe, judgment-free space for my clients with empathy, compassion, and objectivity where they can openly process their feelings and begin the path to change.
My style combines relational psychotherapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I use a collaborative approach in understanding the presenting problem and working together with my clients help them find insight into what is causing them pain. I view every individual I work with as a unique entity who should be viewed through a culturally sensitive lens.
I was initially trained in Family Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I've also completed training at the Stephen Mitchell Center for Relational Studies, in relational psychotherapy. This training helped me learn how to go deeper with my work. I was trained by the NYU Postdoc faculty, some of the most respected psychoanalysts in the field.
