When you first start therapy, delving into your concerns can often feel like a complex puzzle, exploring the many pieces and aspects that make up your experiences. As a therapist, I am here to be your collaborator, creating a warm and grounded environment where we can safely explore these pieces. I am deeply committed to social justice and believe that mental health does not exist in a vacuum. We are influenced by the society and world around us. My approach to therapy is rooted in values of anti-oppression, and working to understand and acknowledge the systemic factors that impact our well-being.
I am a trained trauma therapist and incorporate narrative, somatic, and attachment-based modalities in my work. My background has allowed me to work with a wide variety of clients and diagnoses, and I'm dedicated to creating an inclusive and affirming space. I feel passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community and am trained in EMDR & Brainspotting.
I believe that the relationship between therapist and client is essential to the therapeutic process. My approach is non-judgemental and relational, focusing on building a strong therapeutic alliance and being deeply present with you as we work towards your goals.
