I primarily work with women ages 16+ on issues of anxiety, depression, sexual impulse control, addiction, trauma and spiritual exploration and growth. I have a heart for young and single mothers as well as those seeking to deepen their relationship with God. It is my hope that we can work to gain a deeper understanding of yourself, that you might regain purpose, fulfillment, and intimacy.
I specialize in "here-and-now" therapy techniques to help my clients view themselves from an objective perspective. Once we know what our unconscious reactions and behaviors are, we can work to understand why we have them. I primarily utilize CBT, DBT, Gestalt Therapy, and Story Informed Trauma Therapy (SITT).
Deciding to try therapy is no easy task. Just showing up is half the battle! I find it a humbling privilege to sit with people from all different walks of life and listen to their stories. I hope to be a source of guidance, provocation, challenge, and encouragement as you wade through the various messes that life can bring us!
