I work with individuals who seek depth in their lives and their therapy. I work with folks struggling with life transitions, trauma, depression, anxiety, and inhibition. I work with those who think and feel deeply: from creatives, writers, and academics; to other professionals in the mental health field; to entrepreneurs, clergy, and community organizers. A common thread is a recognition that greater self-awareness can imbue our lives with agency and vitality.
What others can see on the surface does not tell our whole story. I will listen deeply to your story, as well as to what is not being said. Our psyches are in constant motion (what is meant by "psycho-dynamic"), and much of what we do is rooted in unconscious motivation. I am here to help you see more of yourself.
Most people do not know where to start, and that is okay. I provide a therapeutic container that can hold you and your process, no matter how dark or scary, repetitious or redundant, it may feel. Gentle note: in the "Childhood Pain" Olympics, we all lose. Your suffering is real no matter how much privilege you may currently hold.
