I am a clinical social worker with post graduate training in classical and relational psychotherapy. I work with people dealing with depression, anxiety, body image issues, self esteem, money, career, and trauma. Together we will explore the factors keeping you stuck in repeated patterns of relating. One goal is to be able to have new experiences and discover places within yourself that may be yet unknown. Some pain is inevitable. We cannot change the past but by becoming more conscious, we become better equipped to make choices that aid in transformation.
Pattern repeats in nature. Some habits are drawn in water, some in sand, and there are deep relational, genetic, and trans-generational ones that take time to change. The good news transformation is possible. I believe in a multidimensional, holistic approach to wellness.
In addition to practicing psychotherapy, I have taught mind body fitness in the city and find that combining other modalities with therapy can help with depression and anxiety. Together we will find what uniquely works for you.
