I have a broad range of experience working with adults and older adults from various cultural backgrounds, dealing with addiction, mood disorders and anxiety, as well as chronic illness. This experience has allowed me to gain empathy, a deep understanding of the human psyche and a profound respect for the difficulties that people face.
As a therapist, I work with individuals that are experiencing difficulties, due to depression, bipolar disorder and anxiety, past trauma or present challenges. My goal is to help them heal, find balance, become empowered and feel secure within themselves so that they can make their lives work for them.
I also work as a life coach. The goal when I am coaching people is different than psychotherapy. The focus is on achieving personal, professional/academic and relational goals. As a coach I support individuals look internally for a direction that enriches their lives, make a decision and set achievable goals.
