I have had years of experience in crisis management, interpersonal relationship building, and coping skills support, all from a culturally-informed perspective. My culture does influence my perspective and responses in life so I hold people’s cultural identity as central to their therapy.
I use EMDR to help integrate the physical and emotional parts of trauma; culture-centered therapy and curiosity to help you identify ways to balance your cultures; Harm Reduction Psychotherapy for substance use to understand the meanings drugs hold in our lives. You can also talk to me about psychedelic-assisted therapy, such as ketamine-assisted therapy.
