No longer accepting NEW clients. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who has provided quality counseling services for children, adolescents, adults and couples for 18 years. I have experience treating a variety of mental health and life issues. I believe in providing counseling services that meet clients wherever they may be on life's journey in a caring, supportive, non-judgmental manner. I focus on providing a holistic approach that addresses not only the mental, but the physical and spiritual aspects of client issues throughout the therapeutic process.
I specialize in treating anxiety, trauma and perinatal depression and anxiety. I also assist clients in addressing life issues including grief/loss, divorce, relationship issues, self-esteem, GLBTQ, career, and emotion management. Interventions include cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, mindfulness and skills training, among others.
I have worked in community mental health agencies, substance abuse programs, college counseling centers, private practice and also served in the Peace Corps in Uganda, East Africa. I am currently practicing at Dragonfly Counseling Services, which offers a comfortable and private place for therapy.
