My name is Dr. Katia Tikhonravova, Ph.D.. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in the state of Florida. I provide an Emotional Support Animal (ESA) and Psychiatric Service Dog (PSD) recommendation letter in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) for the owners of dogs, cats, bunnies, and other emotional support animals. I am your local therapist who is able to accurately and appropriately discuss the psychosocial needs for your ESA and PSD documentation with your HOA and landlord, school, and employer, while providing HIPAA protection. I speak in English and Russian.
Most medical insurances are accepted. I conduct the evaluation, write an ESA/PSD letter, when needed I will complete additional paperwork asked by the HOA, and I offer communication with your landlord for up to 12 months after our last session.
We can meet at my office in Pompano Beach, FL. However, the majority of my sessions are held online, for which you can use your smartphone or computer. Many of my clients found sessions useful and continue to seeing me after.
