I am certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and I work from an integrative framework, combining mindfulness, somatic interventions, and strengths based approaches.
DBT is an empirically supported approach to treatment. I use DBT skills training to assist clients in regulating mood, improving relationships, and shifting unhelpful behaviors to helpful behaviors. I specialize in the treatment of symptoms related to trauma, mood disorders, personality disorders, and eating disorders.
I believe in the power of the therapeutic alliance. I offer hope, compassion, and safety to my clients. Together we can work towards healing, acceptance, and release of painful emotional baggage.
