I specialize in working with adult individuals struggling with grief, anxiety, trauma, body image, life transitions (ie: college, parenthood, divorce, spiritual deconstruction), and caregivers of children with special needs. I work with clients from religious and non-religious contexts.
Spending 16 yrs as an occupational therapist before becoming a counselor gave me a unique perspective of how the body, mind, and emotion work together. I am primarily trained in Interpersonal Neurobiology, Gestalt, and mindfulness techniques, however, I will tailor the approach to match YOUR needs. I am both compassionate and challenging in sessions.
