I work well with adult clients who struggle with depression, anxiety and grief. My training and years of practice have included a range of conceptual approaches including developmental, family systems, behavioral and cognitive behavior theory. My approach to any client is to tailor the treatment plan to accommodate the needs of that individual.
In past years I completed exhaustive neuropsychological evaluations.This work honed my skills regarding an apt understanding of the clients in my care and an understanding of what was needed to help them. I no longer do assessments but do possess a keen understanding of issues such as ADHD, giftedness, neurodiversity, depression, and anxiety.
Grief and loss, whether due to a death or a different kind of ending is an area of interest for me. This work, in a therapeutic setting requires enormous trust.
