Living in connection with others is a most basic need we all share. An essential part of living a healthy, satisfying life involves giving full expression to one's needs and desires and being able to support the needs of others, with empathy. My goal as therapist is to create a safe environment for individuals, couples and families to explore, experience and express personal and relationship needs toward achieving specific therapeutic goals. In my office, the client is the expert on his/her life.
My clinical experience includes working with couples and families navigating the effects of addiction, ineffective communication, emotional disconnect, anxiety and grief. I encourage a collaborative environment in which individuals, couples and families may create new connections, that lead to hope, healing and a more satifying life.
I have a Master of Family Therapy degree and hold full independent license in marriage and family therapy. I am currently Managing Partner of CURA Couples & Family Therapy Center of Atlanta.
