Somatic Psychotherapy is a way to check in with the body to see what indication it offers us for a 'yes' or a 'no' to someone's request or expectation. A 'no' all too easily gets overridden by guilt, and always for invalid reasons. Learn how your body speaks volumes!
I particularly enjoy working with couples. The more challenging the issue, the deeper and more intimate their bond becomes once the problem has been worked through. There is a tried and tested method for a couple to learn a way of 'clean' communication that bypasses talking in circles and leads straight to the heart of the matter! It also builds trust.
In couples therapy, trust is not a given. It is earned and sometimes lost. It's the same with intimacy and passion. Passionate intimacy can be built and it can be destroyed.
