Hello, my name is Danielle, and I am so excited to begin this therapeutic journey with you! I currently work full-time as a school Counselor, and I have over eight years of experience working in the mental and behavioral health fields. I went to The Catholic University of America for my Bachelor's in Psychology, and Holy Family University, where I obtained my Master's in Counseling Psychology with a School Counseling concentration. Over the past few years, I have accomplished becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor and in my spare time I enjoy cycling, cooking and spending time with my family and two dogs.
I treat anxiety, depression, trauma, life changes, ODD, ADHD, and Autism using cognitive behavioral therapy to empower you to better understand your thinking patterns and to believe in your ability to overcome hardships. Also, I enjoy implementing play therapy through which I feel that children and teens can be honest and receptive in an approachable way.
During our first session, my goal is to take the time to understand you as a unique person and to create a therapeutic space for you to feel comfortable trusting me with personal details of your life. I want you to feel that I am a safe person with whom you can confide in, as well as collaborate with to make a meaningful impact on your overall wellbeing.
