My hope is to bring compassion and curiosity into our work, and together, co-create a space that feels authentic, transparent, and just safe enough to explore past experiences of pain and trauma. When we gain insight into how our past influences our present, we open up our capacity for choice and step into new ways of being that align with our values. I am also a native Spanish speaker and offer therapy in both English and Spanish.
My training and education has focused primarily on the treatment of trauma and working with folks who have experienced sexual and interpersonal violence. I specially enjoy working with people who are navigating the impacts of trauma, relationships and attachment, life transitions, and/or issues related to immigration.
I am trained in EMDR & Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I also believe therapy is most helpful when it recognizes how aspects of our identity interacts with our social, cultural, and political environment. I am licensed in Utah, Colorado, and registered as a Telehealth Provider in Florida.
