Adult DBT Skills Group
**GROUP ACCEPTS NEW MEMBERS ANYTIME.** Last updated 6/3/2024. This group is for adults wanting to improve mood, relationships, and decision making. Participants learn to live in the moment, cope with stress, and regulate emotions. DBT can help with BPD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and addictive or impulsive behaviors. Cost: $40 per session, billed monthly. Individual therapy is not required. Clients learn, discuss, and practice core skills: distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotional regulation and interpersonal effectiveness. **GROUP IS CURRENTLY MEETING, ACCEPTS NEW MEMBERS ANYTIME** Last updated 6/3/2024. This group is for adolescents 12-18 years old wanting to decrease impulsive behaviors or improve mood, self-esteem, relationships, and decision making. Participants will learn distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation, and relationship effectiveness. Dialectical Behavioral Therapy is an evidence based treatment for anxiety, depression, stress, borderline personality disorder, eating disorders and self-harm. New participants can join anytime. Sessions are 90 minutes and include a snack break. Participants are not required to have an individual therapist. To register, email courtney@mysecondstory.com.
