I am a sex, trauma, and relationship therapist with almost two decades of experience in social work and therapy. I specialize in working with couples and individuals navigating relationship transitions (divorce, coparenting, etc.), chronic or acute health conditions, sexual and relational desire differences (including kink, non-monogamy, etc.), religious trauma (especially exvangelicals and queer folks with oppression trauma), domestic violence/intimate partner violence/sexual trauma, healing from a breach of trust, coming out, gender exploration/transition, and more. I often work with LGBTQ+ couples and the parents of LGBTQ+ youth.
When providing therapy, I'm warm, engaged, and non-judgmental. As a relationship therapist, I am highly involved in the therapeutic process. Many couples seek my help and refer others because of my attentiveness and direct approach, especially related to interrupting harmful patterns, getting out of stuckness, and de-escalating tense sessions.

Are you an 18-28-year-old contemplating, planning to, or already coming out as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, gender non-binary, intersex, asexual, or queer? Were you raised in a conservative religious community, or other community where LGBTQ identities were not celebrated? Let's talk coming out, religious trauma, owning and believing your own reality, and regaining hope and joy. Participants of all faiths are welcome, including those who are questioning or no longer adhere to a faith tradition. This is a closed, weekly group that will meet for 8-12 weeks.
