Alongside the general anxiety & depression issues that bring many to therapy, I’m passionate about supporting those experiencing loss. Whether grappling with the end of a relationship, the passing of a loved one, or the upheaval of a job loss; loss affects us all deeply. Often accompanying these losses is a sense of identity dissolution, which can be disorienting yet holds potential for profound personal growth. My therapeutic approach to relational loss is rooted in a trauma-informed lens, informed by my extensive exploration of grief.
In my practice, I integrate various therapeutic modalities, including depth psychology (unconscious mind), somatic (breathwork & meditation), and attachment theory, providing a relational framework for deeper understanding. I merged the topic of grief and attachment theory in my thesis, "The Impact of Grief on a Secure Attachment Style."
I believe that therapy can benefit anyone open to being vulnerable. I like to inform my clients that therapy might be hard before it gets better. To get to the deeper stuff, we often must resurface past traumas. But even in a potentially rocky beginning, you will start to feel truly seen & understood, which is often not common in our everyday interactions.
