My approach to counseling is based on the integration of my professional psychological training and personal experience. I personally have overcome abuse and addictions in my own life. I believe we were created to live in healthy relationships and I love working with people to help them live closer to who they were designed to be. I believe that if we are able to experience healing within ourselves, we can live in relationship with others more freely and authentically.
My specialties include a variety of Marital & Relational Issues, Addictions (alcohol, drugs, pornography & sexual), Anxiety, Depression, Spiritual Issues, Sexual/Physical Abuse, Gender Identity, Financial & Codependency. I am trained in highly researched trauma treatments like RTM, EMDR & ART. As well as relationship treatments like EFT and Gottman Therapy.
I have a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Originally from New York, I also hold a masters in Software Engineering and have worked for the US Army before pursuing my passion for counseling more than 10 years ago. I am happily married for over 14 years and have two beautiful girls. I love what I do and that's why I made a drastic career change.
